In 2018, the group Jobs and Career Opportunities was created to help engineers, designers, and other members of the GrabCAD Community find jobs and careers doing the things they love! However, some of that initial purpose had been lost, the GrabCAD Community no longer served the direct purpose of helping engineers and designers find work. This ability to showcase an engineer's CAD skills quickly grew into a fever and resulted in the first version of the GrabCAD Library.įlash forward nearly a decade and the library is filled with several million CAD files and drawings that showcase millions of engineer's capabilities and skills with CAD design. By moving back and forth you can see how the model progresses over time. The Blue Arrows allow you to navigate through the feature tree while reading any comments posted by the designer. Save and Close the feature to update its name and comments or click Delete to remove comments. The Date/Time stamp to add the current date and time to a comment. The pencil icon allows the feature name and any comments to be edited. Step Four: Edit feature names and comments This enables the Part Reviewer to skip past the less important features that do not include comments. This activates a new tab within the task panel and opens the part reviewer tab.Ĭlick on the sketch icon on the Part Reviewer tab to include these in your review.Ĭomments are left on the important sketches and features and can be sped up further by clicking the bubble icon. SOLIDWORKS have introduced the SOLIDWORKS Part Reviewer which is used as a tutorial tool to create intuitive visuals for other engineers and designers. You can then scroll through each feature by clicking the blue arrows.
